Skate The View by Nakheel
Ahead of the crucial World Skateboarding Tour Park event, a group of the elite competitors took to The View, the highest vantage point of the iconic Palm Jumeirah, for a unique jam session titled “Skate The View by Nakheel”.
In a bold fusion of skateboarding and the Dubai skyline the elite athletes, warmed up for the qualifying event on a ramp designed and installed by AES SB atop the 245-metre-high Palm Tower to Skate The View.
For the athletes who had the chance to Skate The View by Nakheel, the ramp was a welcome surprise and brought some light relief from the focus of competition as they performed tricks against the stunning backdrop of a Dubai sunset, before counting down to the start of the qualifiers.

BRED Festival
BRED Abu Dhabi presented by Hypebeast for the first time to showcase the best of today’s neo-culture.
The 5-day event at Yas Bay Waterfront became the epicenter of the neo-culture phenomenon that was created through the intermingling of cultures from around the world.
Inspired by the power of the microphone, the pen, the thread, the brush, and the sneaker, BRED is where music, fashion, art, and sports intertwine to create a defining moment in history, and the opportunity to showcase talent with exclusive streetwear, bespoke art, street food, basketball showdowns, skateboarding and gaming, all accentuated by international music performances.
AES_sb designed and delivered a temporary, but nonetheless outstanding pop-up skatepark for professional and festival goers alike to showcase their skills and develop their talent during this iconic festival.
